  1. Welcome to our forums!

This thread is for new members to stop in and say hello, and maybe introduce themselves. I'll start.

Hi, I'm Ed. I'm a 31 years old freelancer who lives outside of Santa Barbara. I got into craft beer about five years ago, and my favorite style is West Coast IPAs.

  2. Hi, I'm Alex. I do the beer buying for Red Carpet Wine. I've been getting more and more into beer for a while now, and am falling pretty strong! I love working with it and am always on the lookout for something new.

  3. Hey, what's up Alex, good to see you on here.

I'm Dave, and I'm a moderator here on the forums. I'm 24 and just got into drinking good beer about 2 1/2 years ago. Before that, college was mostly Miller High Life (I'm not embarrassed to admit it. You've gotta know the worst before you can appreciate the best). I went to UCSB, so I picked up a love for Firestone, especially the Double Barrel, and it makes me happy that I can find it in just about any supermarket in Southern California.

Right now, I'd say my favorite styles are Sour beers and Gueuzes, even though I'm not too sure how to spell Gueze. I think the first way is right, though.

  4. Welcome Alex. Feel free to use the Los Angeles forum to post any new beers or special releases that come in to Red Carpet.

Dave- tough call on the gueze, I've seen it spelled both ways.

  5. Hey guys, I'm Kevin. I'm 23 and I live in Orange (moving to Tustin soon). I am currently a technical sales engineer. My current favorite style is IPAs, the hoppier the better.

I have been home brewing for a little while now, and still manage to spend all my money on beer, imagine that! I have an APA, Cali Common and a Cream Ale that I brewed on tap at my house (4 tap kegerator) right now.

  6. I'm Ryan. I am one of the people at Verdugo bar. I'm 32 and my favorite beer is whatever is new and I can get my hands on. been drinking crafty for a bit now but got really into after I got free beer for life.

PS is there someway I can not be a triangle in my posts?

  7. Kevin, 4 tap kegerator?! Good work, man!

Ryan, thanks for joining. Feel free to use the Los Angeles forum to post up any events, tap listings, or new arrivals at Verdugo. Dave told me your bar is sweet, hopefully I can make it by some time!

PS - It looks like you figured out the gravatar.com thing. Awesome.
